Martin Quantrell
Martin Quantrell is a new children’s author whose journey into storytelling began with a very special inspiration: his granddaughter, Alba.
Martin has lived in Carshalton with his wife for more than forty years and is a proud father of two and grandfather to Alba Rose.
During Alba’s first year, Martin began writing short stories as keepsakes for his daughter and granddaughter. What started as a personal family project soon developed into a passion for creating imaginative stories that could be shared with children and families everywhere.
Family life remains at the heart of Martin’s writing. When he is not creating new adventures, he enjoys walking through the Surrey countryside with his wife, spending time with his family and discovering a good country pub along the way.
Alba’s Special Day marks the beginning of Martin’s journey as a children’s author, with more stories and adventures already waiting to be told.
